6weeks pregnant.. Couldn’t bring myself to eat my tomato soup for lunch or all of my fruit, I forced myself to eat an apple, tummy just felt way too queasy all day 🙈 Ate 2 packets of popcorn and for dinner had chips with loads of salt, literally nothing else I wanted 🙈
So unhealthy! 😱 But so good 💗 Is anyone else having similar dietary issues?

It seems to be particular important for human reproduction, both male and female #fertility, for the #pregnancy, and the #newborn and child.” – I learned this today from Dr. Nyberg at the @themedicalchambers after I went for an ‘emergency’ #earlypregnancy scan having noticed lots of brown discharge paired with cramping. I haven’t slept since it started yesterday but haven been assured by Dr Nyberg who is a leading obstetric and gynaecologic ultrasound specialist and is well known for his expertise in using prenatal scans to detect or exclude birth defects. I’m your average first-time-mum-hypochondriac and now know I will have to splash ca$h on medical advice that doesn’t come from #mumsnet so that my mind isn’t overtaken by worry.
The first scans look beaut, hearing the heart beat strongly made us wipe away a tear and not having #twins means we won’t have to sell the house. Vitamin D I’ll have plenty of right now, vitamin D*** I’ll leave for now as I’m pretty sure all this discharge and stress was the result of a bit of boink.

Wednesday – Caffeine 🤫
Shhh… I had a small fountain cherry coke tonight. I caved! Oh, the yummy carbonation, the tingly cherry goodness, mmMMmm! 😋 It has been months, like a year, since I’ve had a Coca-Cola or any caffeine. But it has been A HECK OF A WEEK, y’all! And it has been calling my name for over two months. I know that a coke has less caffeine than the max “allowed” daily for a pregnant woman, so “it’s fine.” But still…

The reason I use the quotes is because it has taken FIVE YEARS to get to this point – to happily be growing a little human being 👶… and I don’t want to jeopardize this at all. And sometimes it feels like people have the biggest flukes of the smallest things that can create a miscarriage. That is the darndest thing about this process, no matter how much positivity I imagine and good vibes I focus on, that scary little voice of negative “but what ifs” looms. . . I even asked a question on a pregnancy app of “When do you stop worrying during your pregnancy” to which 70% replied NEVER! Ha, so it is nice to know it is an average concept in the pregnancy world but ughh…. I’ll keep channeling my calm and go with the flow all is good vibes as much as possible. That is all we can do! 💕

My husband is going to start working on where we can position some hidden cameras to catch my parents’ reactions. He thinks my dad knows because he was extra on his best behavior when we met with them in November 🤔 butner shall see soon enough!!! 💕

PS. All of the ornaments on our tree were made by us! My husband 3D printed them and I painted and finished them! Still working on finishing a cross stitch stocking or 2 to add to the branches of our wee little tree ❤

SENSITIVE POST –
I believe the line may be darker today. It’s hard to tell honestly but the control line is lighter too which to me is a good sign. That was my past pregmate test and I’m not gonna order more unless I have to. I started testing with a clear blue today too. Faint line, but there. They’re not especially sensitive. So now instead of alternating pregmate and first response, I’ll be alternating @clearblue and @firstresponsepregnancy , and using a few dollar store tests in between. I’m praying and praying this is it. I’m hoping to see a line dark enough to feel comfortable telling my husband by Sunday. I think this is the darkest @pregmate strip I’ve ever taken and I’m so so happy to be where I am. All praise to the most high. I didn’t make my body ovulate early, HE did.
