4 weeks 4 days (according to my ovia app). I am famished and thirstythirstythirsty I spend all day shoveling things into my mouth and Ben spends all day shoveling my boob into his mouth and this new little one is spending all day becoming and I am so in love! The love I have for Ben helps me love this brand new limitless potential of a being so big already. Every time Ben nurses and I look down at his little body nestled against my belly I think of how lucky I am that I get to hold both of my babies, that in this moment I am able to supply all the needs of two of the humans I love most. It won’t always be this way, but right now I am their entire world and I feel so damn proud. ********* 6 hours later the same day. I am feeling drained. I spent all day telling close friends and family our big, new, news about our tiny, new, family member. I cleaned the whole house. I took care of Ben. I wanted to take a nap but I didn’t have a chance as we had people coming over this evening and everything was a mess. They were people I was excited to spend time with but once they got here I just felt spent. For someone who has a pretty active social life, I’ve had to pull right back so far in this pregnancy because I am genuinely too damn tired to do anything after 7pm…and well, now that I’ve discovered the bliss of Netflix and Uber Eats, I’m just not sure so I’ll ever go back 🤷🏼‍♀️

BUT it is super important to make time for each other (outside of the couch) and a little date day with my mate on Saturday featuring a long lunch at @threeblueducks at @w_brisbane was exactly what we needed ❤️

Early pregnancy scans

We know that it can seem like a lifetime from that first positive pregnancy test until your routine 12 week NHS scan. This is why we offer you an Early Scan in our private and caring clinic to enable you to see your little baby’s heartbeat for the first time and offer you reassurance.
During your appointment we will measure;
Position of the placenta
Measure the amniotic fluid index
Assessment the fetus’ growth
Establish a current estimated fetal weight
Identify and measure fetal heart rate

You will receive a report of the scan findings, which will also be fully explained to you, and those all important scan pictures to take home with you.

2 days ago we went in for our 1st untrasound. Baby is still very tiny, as I’m only 7 weeks pregnant on Monday. But the black is the amniotic sac and right there laying on the bottom of it is our little embryo ❤
If you look very closely, you can see a white blurry dot pulsating, which is baby’s little heartbeat, so happy! 😻

This is the healthiest pregnancy I’ve gone through 💙💛🖤

I’m eating healthy and in moderation ( not eating for 2 every meal and snack ) . I’m getting a ton of rest and moving my body when I feel like I am able . I’ve had zero morning sickness and my mood has been amazing ! .
I think all my weight went to my 🍈🍈. Haha . But I’m still down 10.1 pounds ! .
