I went to the gym tonight. I Know. Big Call 🙏🤞🙏 I struggle with bouts of depression and before I begun IVF I realised that working out really helped to elevate my moods. I’ve been contemplating the pro’s and con’s of staying active during the first trimester and no matter how many pregnant women you see at the gym totally happy, healthy and thriving in their pregnancies you cant help but obsess over all the horror stories 😮 am I sweating too much??did I go too hard??did I drink enough before I started this set?? Wait, didnt that article say I shouldn’t lift weights 😫 aaaaaaah! This was meant to be a stress reliever, not a stress inducer 😭 No matter what you do or dont do in IVF it seems there is ALWAYS an article somewhere about who it did and then who it didnt work for, you cant win! So for the sake of mine and hubby’s sanity I made an executive decision (ofcourse I checked and double checked then checked again with my fertility nurses to make sure it was okay 😄) to start back at the gym and just pull back slightly to what I usually do. One minute your little heart is beating and I am looking at a sonographers screen, elated!😍 our tiny little miracle ❤

The next I am being urgently taken away in an ambulance to undergo emergency laparoscopic surgery… I dont understand why God would allow something like this to happen, it doesn’t seem Good or kind, compassionate or loving… But maybe He didnt want this to happen?
Maybe He cried while I cried?
Maybe He knew that my sister in Christ, Liz, would be working at the doctors office and made sure she was the first one to find out so she could be the physical form of Love that the father so desperately wanted to give me?
Maybe He purposely made sure that I didnt have the car to drive myself to the appointment so that I would reach out to my sister in Christ serah who would be beside me once I had found out?
Maybe He knew our baby couldn’t be saved and so He made sure I was aware of what was going on before my life was taken also?
Maybe He held me tight and fought off the spirit of death and sent Angel’s to govern and protect me while I lay on the surgery table?
Maybe His love toward me never ever stopped even though mine did for Him… Isaiah 61:3 “He will give me beauty for the ashes,
The oil of joy for our mourning
And the garment of praise for this spirit of heaviness”

Anyone who has only just started following, I thought AF started at 10DPO (of a 35+ day cycle), 2 days after BFN. Other symptoms and a very short AF led me to test again at 12DPO. GP at 14DPO suspected miscarriage but suggested my tests would be getting lighter, not stronger. Everything crossed little one 🤞🏼
