I’m feeling very strange this morning with a ray of nerves & excitement. It’s amazing what the human body can do and today will make this worrying but beautiful journey feel so real if I see it’s little flickering heartbeat .

One whole year of knowing about our little boy’s existence. I took the test right before Dustin got home from work that morning and set it on the counter so we could look together, but I was too scared to see another negative test so I laid in bed. When I saw him flip on the “good lights” in the bathroom, I figured it was another negative test and tears welled up in my eyes. He told me to come look, and when I did I saw it. The faintest little line, but it was there. I said “it’s a line” through quiet sobs. The smiles on our faces were half forced because we discovered “evaporation lines” are a thing and we were worried, but wanted to still document the moment. We held out on excitement as much as possible until I could get a digital test. Amazingly enough, I was three weeks and six days pregnant with our little Liam ♥️

We are still soaking it all in so I’m still a bit lost for words as we didn’t plan for this BUT God has other plans and I know He knows what is best for my family and I. Walk with the pups.

Early pregnancy is a weird time. You dont look pregnant but you feel nauseous, tired AF, you want to kill everyone because everyone is annoying, bloating is a whole new level, you either want to eat everything or nothing and no sleep is enough ever. You pee more than ever and wake up about 10 times a night to go)
So today we went for a walk in the beautiful woods to calm and centre ourselves and it was fab.

Now this preggo lady is hungry.

This day a year ago I dreamt I would fall pregnant with my rainbow. I don’t ovulate regularly and because I have pcos I cannot rely on ovulation tests. I counted 10 days from the morning I had the dream and there was my rainbow; two lines.
A year can change so much. A year ago I was wondering if I would ever have a family, if I would ever be able to fall pregnant again, if I would ever carry a baby to term. A year later I am remembering those times and laying between my husband and tiny human. Dreams can come true 🌈 don’t lose hope
