Tomorrow is our 11 weeks.. it’s starting to feel a bit more real now and scan shows more baby than blob… supposed to be the size of a plum! Still zero symptoms.
Also have first midwife appointment tomorrow so have a few mixed emotions as was so excited last time.. but retrospectively looking back our little bean’s heart had already stopped beating. This is a completely different baby and pregnancy so I need to remind myself of this.
So desperate to get to 12 weeks and have our dating scan. Need to try and keep positive.
Killer cold now seems to be on the way out. Bonus!

I AM ALWAYS SO TIRED 💤 || I usually have such a good sleeping pattern but since I’ve been pregnant no mater how much sleep I get I feel so so tired! It has been exactly one month since we had our 4th IUI on September 12, 2019. Who knew, in this moment, we would be pregnant until proven otherwise (PUPO)!. 💚 .

I woke up early this morning to potty, feed the cats, and then hang out with the furbabies while eating some fresh fruit, watchin’ romantic comedies, and letting my wife sleep in. (Found the teeny grape in my bowl to be so very precious, as a good positive sign of our itty bitty seedling-tot. 😊) Seems so silly to always make things into symbolism, luck, or signs to help hold on to hope but if it helps our psyche, why not?! .

Feeling super proud of myself right now. Today I took a little day trip to London with my lovely friend and midwife, Louise, to guest speak at a pregnancy loss symposium.

The @busog_students and @icsm.og hosted a fantasticly informative and inspiring study day for medical students who were all so lovely and keen to know how they can improve patient care/experience when dealing with pregnancy loss.
.
I spoke to them about my personal/patient experience of loss, and told Guy and Cooper’s story. Something which comes naturally everyday, but I’ve never been brave enough to speak about formally like this.

Definitely feeling the emotional weight of this day tonight, but feel I’ve made a very positive contribution to #BLAW2019 for Guy and so proud to have been able to imprint his little footprints a bit further.
