8 weeks 💗🤞 how cute. Everyone loves gummy bears 😁💗 I have my first midwife appointment of this pregnancy tomorrow. And it’s also my first rainbow baby’s 8th birthday! 🌈💙 I cant believe that I have been blessed with 8 years of being a mama. I just know before I turn around he will be 18 and ready to fly away from me. But enough of that for now I will have cuddles on the sofa with my not so little rainbow baby and think positive thoughts for his little brother/sister 🥰 💜 .

Waiting to see doctor. Our little baby is the size of a wild strawberry now and causing me all sorts of havoc. I feel a bit embarrassed to admit that I haven’t given much thought to how the baby is doing as I’ve just felt so dreadful and only really been focused on myself. How terrible is that. HG almost makes you forget you are pregnant and just makes you focus on being ill. Will check in later with an update. You guys!!! It’s 9DPO and I am feeling…THINGS!!!💃🏻I have already looked up early pregnancy symptoms and…the due date.😬🙈Ahhhh! I couldn’t help it after possible implantation bleeding! I got excited! I don’t know if that’s what it is. But I am hopeful since it didn’t happen with our last two pregnancies.❤️

53% of girls aged 5 to 17 in the DRC are out of school due to different factors such as high child labour, early marriage and pregnancy and long distances between the schools and the more remote villages.

For these and many other reasons we are particularly invested in making sure that as many girls as possible participate and benefit from our school projects.

Together with @unicefrdcongo we organise awareness raising activities with parents and communities to underline the importance for girls to enrol in school since it can change their very near as well as long term future. .
