53% of girls aged 5 to 17 in the DRC are out of school due to different factors such as high child labour, early marriage and pregnancy and long distances between the schools and the more remote villages. For these and many other reasons we are particularly invested in making sure that as many girls as possible participate and benefit from our school projects.
