You hear them from friends, family members, strangers at the grocery store. Everyone wants to share their story to relate to others and feel valued, sharing is healing but unfortunately birth trauma is very common. Mamas, I encourage you to be very mindful of what you receive during pregnancy. If someone starts to share a horror story with you, gently ask them if they will wait until after your baby arrives. It’s ok to say you don’t want those stories in your head as you prepare to birth your baby. If it’s a stranger you will never see again remember your well being and peace of mind through pregnancy is more important than hurting someone’s feelings. Every mother deserves to tell her story in a safe space. Find a heart centered mothers group or sharing circle to share and be witnessed but PLEASE STOP TELLING PREGNANT WOMEN HORROR STORIES. #positivepregnancy #hypnobirthing #changethestory #sacredpregnancy #birthpower #changethenarrative #mindfulpregnancy #doula #southernoregon #hypnobirth #positivemind #storytelling #mindfulness #sharing #motherhood #childbirth #birthstories #nomorehorrorstories #pregnantandpowerful #pregnancyhealth #healthypregnancy #protectyourenergy #birthdoula #advocate #earlypregnancy #peacefulpregnancy #powerfulthoughts #protectyourmind #growingbaby #holdingspace
