Around the 6th week of #pregnancy is when your babies heartbeat will start. From 6-8 weeks, the scan will need to be conducted internally. This does not cause any additional risk to your baby. We need to look internally as baby is so small and very difficult to view through your tummy. At this stage, they are around the size of a pea!!!
