I’m about 10 weeks pregnant here, I’ve just had my first midwifery appointment, about to get the train to work from Margate station. Joel really wanted to take my photo here on this day, I wasn’t so keen. I felt really vulnerable for the first time in my pregnancy and overwhelmed by emotions. But looking back at this now I’m really glad he took it. This photo feels really significant to me, Margate my new home in the background, at the beginning of the end of our life as two and the start of a new life as three.
