Image courtesy @someecards The onset of pregnancy marks the beginning of advice from one and all. You can save yourself only till the time you have hidden it from concerned friends and relatives. You share the news and you are given a bunch of advice and tips. . . For me, most of it came in handy as I liked to hear other people’s experience as long as they were genuine and real. . . What intrigued me though was when people gave advice on what to eat/not eat to have a fair kid. Until I conceived, I really thought this was purely based on parents’ genes. I was suffering from terrible nausea and became an immensely picky eater in the first trimester. I was barely able to eat most of the things and to top that the concerned people were barring me to eat some of the limited options too. The most weird ones were... 1. “Kaala cheez khaane se kaala baby, and white cheez khaane se goraa” .... so no kaala jaamun, no falsa and yes to coconut, paneer, milk et al. 2. Watermelon khaane se kaala baby because of the seeds 😳 3. Consuming water in silver utensil will result in white glowing baby And the list went on... to be honest, I ate what I liked. Even if it meant “chhup ke khaana” 😄 . . Tell me the list of weird advices you heard during your pregnancy. #weirdadvice #strangepregnancyadvice #pregnancydiaries #earlypregnancy #firsttimepregnant #pregnancyjourney #pregnantlife #pregnancymatters #pregnantworld #pregnancyblog #pregnancylife #iampregnant #pregnancypositive #indianmomblogger #kolkatamoms #momsofkolkata #mommietales #joyofpregnancy #mommytobeblogger #momsofinstagram #instamoms #igmotherhood
