Jane is in dreamland having a bizarre dream of Harry Potter fighting the orange Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (is that Michelangelo?). She seems to be having a lot of these strange dreams lately and they are so much more vivid than usually.☁️🌙🌟 I am fascinated by dreams! There is so much we don't know about them.🧐 I even has some crazy hypothoses on what they actually are. Are dreams reality and "real life" an illusion? Who really knows? 🤪🙃🤓 What kind of changes can you expect in your dreamworld during pregnancy? You might: 🌟Dream more frequently. 🌟Get nightmares. 🌟Have Anxiety ridden dreams. 🌟Have more vivid and intense dreams. 🌟Remember your dreams better. There are a few hypotheses on why we have pregnancy dreams: 🧩Your emotional state is heightened during pregnancy and of course, your physical and mental states are very strongly connected. Your body is going through lots of changes and that, in turn, will impact your mind. 🧩Another hypothesis is the increase in hormones. Oh, we blame all sorts of things on those pesky little hormones! But they do impact your anxiety and your emotions, so it kind of makes sense that they affect your dreams as well, right? 🧩Your sleep can be disrupted in pregnancy due to discomfort, which means you'll wake up more frequently. This will impact the stage of sleep when you dream (REM sleep), and you might just be remembering your dreams more often but not dreaming more than normal. It's hard to say! If your dreams are bothersome, you can try dream journaling. Keep a paper and pen at the bedside and write down all your dreams! This might help to decrease the vividness and frequency of your dreams.📝 It's also totally normal if you don't have weird dreams or any dreams at all. Everyone is different.❤️ Did you have wild and weird pregnancy dreams? Nightmares? Please share all in the comments below! Also, who do you think would win that fight? My money is on Michelangelo! Unless Harry has his wand in his back pocket 🤣🤪😂
